I have recently set up my voice recognition on my windows vista desktop. I have used it to write projects and send emails but I havnt tested it on mylot yet. Since my internet was down and im using my laptop I cant try it out yet but I am so eager to try it out.
Do any of you use this and do you think it is much easier for your mylotting??

I think it's one of the best technological advancements of the system. Windows XP have this feature and I'm actually using it but it's not that accurate. I think Windows 7 got it better this time. Actually speaking over the mic is more practical but the only problem that I have now is the accent. I don't have any English accent at all. And it's really hard to train the whole system so it can understand every single words that you say.

Gosh, I don't know about this feature with Windows Vista though. Can you show me? I just wonder how does this work though. So, you speak up, and the system itself will write whatever you speak on the screen? If that is the case, it should be pretty cool though. I would like to try it myself.

Wow I feel like I live in the dark ages!
I never even realized that such things were easily accessible to the general public.
Sure I guess I thought they existed (I have seen them in the movies!)...but everyday people being able to have them on a place like myLot spins me out.
Great idea though, I reckon that it would be fantastic, imagine the stories you could write....my biggest problem is that when I sit down to type on a keyboard my mind generally goes blank.
Controlling all ten digits takes a lot of concentration to remember where all the keys are and such! Thinking of something meaningful to say makes it even harder...Being able to speak would be so easy, I could stay here all day if that was the case!
Hope it is as much fun as what you (and I) think it will be
