Strange Interest ranking!!!!!

Perhaps they are the person who originated that interest. I've found that in my experience if I add an interest and initiate the discussion, I am number one in that interest..

well maybe there are only 72 members who shares the same interest..what else could it be??

She proberly does a lot of replies to other discussions. I do this myself I reply to a lot of discussions. I do this more then I start discussions. It seems so far to help me ever since I have joined mylot.

So is it better to have a low ranking? I'm confused by all of this! lol! What else is new! I just keep posting and watch the money grow....

I have a suspicion that that is the position within an interest that a discussion holds... so you post a discussion there and it will take 1 out of however many there are for the given time frame - another posts a discussion there and now your's moves down to 2 - someone replies to your discussion and it is moved back to one. sound feasible?

I've noticed the ranks given to the users but don't know the importance of that. Does this ranking system in mylot sounds lot.? If a user gets lower rank is he\she considered to earn more compared to other users? Kindly explain about this system.

Hmmm quite a strange one but I think Kykidd might have a point about no one much having written in that topic for a while. On the other hand it could be that that person has been responding to responses as opposed to the main discussion, e.g. commenting on responses aimed at the discussion author in general because when you add comments to others' responses it does not increase your post count? I notice that a lot of people do this, not sure if they do it knowingly or not but I've had some good comments left on responses which I could have given best response to had they been written as a direct response so those people are missing out if they're working on myLot this way!

Did this person upload a bunch of photos? I was wondering yesterday if people get ranking for photos as well. Because I saw some strange ones too.

I didn't realize they had changed the ranking system again until I just pulled up this discussion. I was still used to the original in interest, so that really throws me for a loop. The only thing I can think of is it would be an interest no one had discussed in quite a while, so it put her at the top. But I'm just pulling this out of the air, mainly because there were only 72 total.

I didn't really notice anything about it until you said something about it...but they have been making alot of "upgrades" lately so that could have something to do with it..I have noticed that some of the upgrades are pretty good though..so hopefully this will be a good one if it is truly an upgrade..I don't know much aobut rankings though..
