Money:
We earn it. We spend it. We...try to save it. And I think we can all agree that we wouldn't mind having more of it.
So, what tips do you have to offer?
What have you tried?
What's worked well and what hasn't?
Any not so "run-of-the-mill" suggestions?

The best and only real way to save is to miminize or advoid unnecessary spending. Figure out how much a week you spend on things like snacks, soda, etc. and deposit that ammount into a saving account. Your bank may offer automatic transfers so you don't even have to stop in the bank every week. Setting up automatic transfers into your ROTH retirement account might be a good idea also. Also your work may offer direct deposit into your bank account.
If you don't have a budget then you won't be able to save effectively. Set a limit on frivolous spending and stick to it. Don't go over that limit by even a single penny.

This is very good advice. Budget is a key factor in saving.

I've just now started making a physical budget that exists outside of my head. Writing it down and looking at it is a lot different than when I was just trying to 'stay mindful' of my spending. I also need to look into retirement accounts...since I don't have one and have no idea where to begin. Yikes, I'll have to get on that.

Let's see. One way my wife and I have saved money is by changing our Cable service from standard basic to real basic which brought that monthly bill down from about $53 to only $9. That is a savings of about $500 a year.
Instead of expensive cable channels we use NetFlix to see good movies one at time for about $9 a month.
We also avoid buying small bottles of spring water and instead get the gallon jugs of the store brand of spring water. (I often even drink tap water.)
An online bank for savings is good because it gives higher interest and takes longer to withdraw. (Withdrawing is free, though, which can't be said of CDs.)
Budgets are important. Set aside a certain amount each week or month for groceries, so much for clothes, so much for the gift buying at Christmas, birthdays, weddings, etc. That helps avoid going into deeper credit card debt when buying those things.
And you must put money aside for a "rainy day fund" because sooner or later we all have a rainy day and if we don't have rainy day money set aside already we will go into credit card or other type of debt which can be very expensive.
Asking for suggestions like you have done is a great idea.

I've started looking for ways to cut back too. I switched my cell phone plan from unlimited texts to 200/month and saved $15. I also don't do grocery shopping at mainstream stores anymore because it's soooooo ridiculously expensive compared to Costco or discount grocery outlets.

Oh, also AedonLeone has a great idea doing shopping for gifts during that after Christmas sale time of year. I was at Macy's in mid-January of this year and ALL of the Christmas decorations were 90% off or more. Literally. Even the big decorative Christmas trees they have throughout the store. My boss bought a tree that was normally $400 for $5. Makes me wonder how much money I could have saved last year on birthday presents, etc had I started stocking up at a close-out type sale earlier. Future reference!

Well the only thing that work for on saving money is having my a pot as mycoin bank. I ask my husband to buy me this decorative pot as my coin bank but actually its not necessary coin that i put i drop all the extra money before i sleep and i will start again of earning money for the next day.The pot should stay closed until i need it in very important matter. i make sure that i budget my salary, divided already to things that we need to spend: 1.monthly grocery supply, 2.transportation expenses to work, 3.extra money to personal things and going with friend 4. savings, other important things like financial support to my parents, food supply, car expenses, house expenses, travel expenses and many things will for my husband shoulder.
