Have you found anything interesting from the eBay ads at the top of the site? Monday was my first day here and one of the first ads I saw had the words NH (where I'm from) and Hunkins (my mother's maiden name) in the listing title. Of course I had to click on it! It was a letter and envelope written in the early 1800s from someone with the last name of Hunkins from somewhere in Massachusetts sent to his nephew in NH. The name is not very common and I've never been able to trace my mother's side of the family back more than one generation, so I had to have this! The auction had ended just minutes before, with no bidders. I contacted the seller to see if he'd re-list, and he did with a buy-it-now, so I'm waiting on its arrival now. Wouldn't that be a hoot if it was a major link to info about my ancestry? I'm psyched! So ... back to the original question. Have you found anything neat from the ads that made you go look?
