How many Christian radio stations are accessible where you live? And what kind of Christian, or secular, music do you listen to? We have our own radio station and would really be interested to know what everyone, or most Christians, are drawn to. Listen to us here (have your children and grand kids give us an opinion too)and leave us a message. Very cool, thanks guys. http://www.freedomfestradio.com . The station is also on my profile.

I love Contemporary Christian music the most. I am blessed to have a radio station that comes in loud and clear called K-Love, it's virtually commercial free, well they mostly just play music which I love, they talk to you like they are your friends, they have special guests, but not the preaching & debating like a lot of the other stations have. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with the preaching, but there are so many Christian stations out there that do have the preaching, it is nice to have one that no matter what time of day I turn it on, I can have my favorite songs playing and blessing me.

K-love is awesome. It is a lot like Air1. I don't get the K-love in my area but I pick it up on my way to pick up my stepson after my local stations have faded out. That' s one of the neat things in south, there is usually a church on every corner and when your local Christian station has faded out, there is another you can pick up by scanning for channels.

I hear ya, Lakota. We don't try to intrude, just finding our own place in this world. :) The invitation is there and I'd love your opinion on our station, that's all. There's not a lot of talking on it, though we will go live early this Summer.

Oh how exciting - we have 2 stations I can get, Family Life Radio and Spring Arbor University station (both christian). I like most all Christian music and do like a variety from the old gospels to contemorary.

There are only 2 that we can get all the time. One is not my taste and the other is ok, except they only play the really good stuff on Sunday evenings, any other time, it is the soft/country type music..:P

I love contemporary Christian music! I listened to KTIS when I lived in MN, but there was nothing near me in NC that I liked, nor is there here in Ohio where I am now.
Fortunately KTIS is online so I can still listen while at my computer. I don't as often as I'd like because I'm usually on sites that have other music playing in profiles and such so its disturbing, but I like that the option is there.

Yeah, it's a little hard to listen when other sites have some kind of audio going on. For me I love Christian Rock, Indie bands . . . therefore that would probably drown out any sounds from other websites. LOL. Thanks for coming by Ldyjarhead, I love your family graphics sites. I'll take a longer look later cause it didn't really load on aol. FireFox would probably do better. Stay in touch now.

I don't know how many stations there are around my town. (Quite a few, I think.) I keep my radio tuned to BBNRadio almost all of the time. They also have a web site: BBNRadio.com. They play mostly old fashioned hymn-book type music, which I like best. They also have a lot of educational programs like "Focus on Families", David Jeremiah, Reve Zacharias, etc. I will check out your station.

hi, I am not too sure of how many are available in my area but I tend to listen to United Christian Broadcasting as I subscribe to their Word for Today magazine and I think people of all ages can relate to it. I enjoy modern upbeat, uplifting music but appreciate Gospel also as once agian it is a very lively sound. Some of the discussions are very interesting too, but I will check out the above link. UCB is one that my daughters teenage friends will enjoy listening too as many are in Christain bands themselves. Ellie :D
