If you could get an hour a freetime all to yourself what would you do with it?

That is such a lovely fantasy to me...a whole hour just to myself to do whatever I wanted. You have to understand, I don't even get five minutes in the bathroom without a little boy pounding on the door saying Mommy let me in...what are you doing in thereeeeeeeee LOL. If I did get an hour to myself, I think I would probably spend it sewing or reading. Two of my fav past times that I hardly ever get to do anymore. I would say sleep being how I have a 3 month old that keeps me up all hours of the night, but I wouldn't want to waste it :)

I am quite lucky that my son is now in Kindergarten fulltime so I have a bit of time on my hands everyday. I am starting to get bored though and have been looking around for another part time job. I was working seasonal during the Christmas holidays but they don't have any part time day jobs open at the moment so I have been looking elsewhere.
I like taking long soaks in the bath, or reading a book, even catching up on some sleep especially if I went to bed late the night before. I like going for walks too when the weather is nice.

It would be such bliss wouldnt it, I am the same as you, no time to myself, no lounging in the bath for hours at a time, no reading whenever I fancy, no time to do my cross stitch. I have 4 children and a husband, my youngest is 2 she does not yet sleep all through the night and so I dread bedtimes as well, and it would be bliss to be able to go to bed and sleep all through the night. So if I had an hour to myself, I would probably just have a long lazy bath and then if I still had some time left out of the hour, I would just lounge on the sofa and have a good read. I think actually I would need more than an hour to myself!!!

I would sleep, definitely. It's my favorite thing to do. I don't need to go out and I don't need to spend money. I'm perfectly happy on my bed. LOL
Then when I wake up I would feel refreshed and inspired to be busy again.

Just wanted to say to you wonderful "mommies" out there, if it is all possible, enjoy this time in your life.
My son is now 28 yrs. old.
I had quite a comeuppance, about 3 months ago, I was working on a job-site (I am a Tiler) and the family was getting ready to go somewhere. The daughter didn't want her hair brushed, and threw a bit of a tantrum. The parents were harried. And as all of this was happening, I welled up with tears, and thought what I would give to have those moments again. To hear my son, even misbehave.
They seem trying at the time, but believe me those moments are fleeting.

It's amazing to think about having an hour to myself.
Sometimes I think "that's not a lot of time, I'm sure I do that everyday." except when I think about it, I realize I don't have that kind of free time, maybe spurts during the day, but never a nice, uninterrupted hour.
I would head over to the beach, weather permitting, of course. If it was rainy or cold, I would probabnly just stay in bed or climb back in bed for a nice, peaceful nap.
