Can't sleep...

Hey all, so basically it's 5:20am, and I just can't fall asleep. This seems to be happening quite a lot lately. If anyone has trouble sleeping, what kind of things do you do to help yourself drift off?

Is this a normal occurance for you to have trouble sleeping? I used to have alot of trouble sleeping because I had so many things running through my mind so much. I couldn't shut it all off. Until my doctor put me on anxiety medication. Try something like meditating, get comfortable close your eyes. Then concentrate on every part of your body getting heavy. Breath slowly concentrate on breathing in and out. In and out. Hope this works for you if it doesn't try warm milk. It always worked for my mom

unfortuanlly i suffer from insomnia, and falling asleep is so hard for me. i've been trying alot of things latly. like listening to ocean waves and music without any words in it. i just close my eyes and focus on the black. telling myself to fall asleep over and over again. it sounds odd, but it works for me. and if that fails i just read, reading tends to make people sleeping.

You have to concentrate on one thing and not think about various things. if you can just concentrate on your GOD whoever it is, just saying the name again and again. You'll fall asleep. It is also said a teaspoon or two of honey mixed in water or milk will help you to sleep. It is said to relax you and make you get a sound sleep. Sleep at the regular time and it becomes a habit for you.

i seldom get insomnia,as i'm such person has a sound and quality sleeping.in my opinion,sleeping quality can be formed through own's effort. it's rather an acquired behaviour not something can't be changed. my experience tells me that a healthy life style is favourable to forme a quality sleeping.thus,you may have less trouble in sleeping if you go to bed regularly every day with a time not too late. i feel difficult to fall asleep only when i mess my normal schedule and stay up to late at night.i remember once i played computer game to 3:00am when i was too excited and sober to fall asleep. anyway,if you can't fall asleep,just to close your eyes and keep your mind empty.you should force yourself to sleep,through which you'll be used to and return to normal finally.take care.

I am not fond of drinking milk but they say it may help especially the luke warm, then just keep reading especially the small texts.

how i wish i can share my slepping habbit to you because i sleep a lot and i cant resist to sleep..
