blankness while reading

Sometimes it so happens that when I am reading a book and have moved on to the next page, I have to read the first page again to recall what I have just read. Sometimes I am in the middle of a book and realise I didn't remember what was written in the last page. Its not that I don't concentrate but I don't know why it happens. Sometimes its irritating as it makes me loose the flow of the book. Do any of you guys have the same problem. What do you think is best to do in order to avoid such things and enjoy my favourate book without going at the same lines again and again.

I multi-task in pretty much everything I'm doing, and I guess I do when reading too. Occasionally I'll find my mind wandering elsewhere while I'm reading and I'll miss something so will go back a paragraph or two, sometimes a page. Doesn't happen often because I'm pretty good at following several things at once, but it does happen on occasion. I don't think its any big deal, unless you have a concentration problem in other areas of your life.
