old school friend

I keep in touch via email with a friend I've know since 1965. We didnt get on at first and actually came to blows in the playground but then became really good friends.

I have one friend that has been my friend since we met in 8th grade and we are still the best of friends. I have a couple of others that I occassionally go out to lunch with or hook up for coffee. It's really pretty cool since I am now 51. I'm actually still very good friends with my first boyfiend from highschool.

Haha,we have a similar situation regarding keeping in touch with old friends from school. I have hard time getting in touch with my elementary classmates/friends since I don't have any contacts or even their cellphone numbers. However, I regularly hangout with my High School friends and I really enjoy their company. I really think you start compiling their myspace accounts and let your presence be felt by them. Who knows, they are raring to see you in person? Although I only have few really close friend in elementary, I still want to see them and hangout someday with them. It's great to see old friends and know more about them. In that way, you'll be rekindling a friendship that is tarnished by time and distance.

I do keep in touch with my old friends from school. Well, most of them, at least. Most of them are in my Friendster list. Others are in MySpace. It's nice to hear from them and learn about what they are up to.

Some people are able to keep in contact with school friends. Some grow apart. That is just life. I have several friends from high-school that I keep in contact with. My oldest friend I met in the 6th grade. He was in junior high(7th grade). We are so close HE was my Matron of honor. I don't know how many women have males stand up with them.But it is possible to keep these relationships strong.
