Why can't I get a job?

I am a very very young 40 (easily looks 30 - infact I was mistaken for a 14 year old a couple of months ago! Really!) I have qualifications coming out of my ears and am studying a degree in my spare time. However, I just can't seem to get a job, they always go to in-house people, or I'm told I'm over qualified, or I I've always got a couple of say, computer skills missing or something. It's so frustrating, I wan't to work and I'm not in a position to claim any benefit whatsoever, my husband earns well but not quite enough. We don't overindulge, and live on a very tight budget. I just wish someone would give me a job! Is there anyone else out there who has this problem or anyone who can help?
