Have you ever travelled to another country? If so, what was your most memorable trip, and why was it memorable?

My most memorable trip abroad was the second one. It was in Bangkok Thailand. I enjoyed it so much and it was the longest time that I spend with my friends out of the country. It was so memorable that I was able to write a book (still unpublished) about the entire trip.

I really love to travel and have been to almost 50 different countries so far. I flew to Cancun in Mexico in 2006. Then I caught a couple of buses to a place near the border of Belize. I stayed my first night there. Early the next day I caught a bus to Belize City then got a boat over to Caye Caulker. I spent a few magical days there going out on snorkeling trips to see coral, fish, sting rays and nurse sharks. I loved the boat trip I went on to see manatees. Then I got a boat back to Belize City and then a bus to the interior of Belize. I stayed at a tree house and went out on an exciting cave adventure that involved walking, swimming and climbing. Inside the cave were pieces of Mayan pottery. Then I got a bus over the border into Guatemala. I went to Tikal and saw Mayan temples in the jungle. Seeing sunrise from the top of one of these was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. Then I got a bus to Flores an attractive lakeside town. After that I got a couple of buses to Orange Walk. From there I did an exciting river trip, seeing crocodiles and more Mayan ruins. I will never forget hearing a jaguar! I got a bus back over the border into Mexico and stopped off in a thatched beach hut for a couple of days. This trip was memorable for all the adventure and achieving my dream of sleeping in a tree house.

Most memorable holiday was a few years ago when I went to Austria one summer. I spent some time up in the mountains in a hotel, and one evening there was an electrical storm, it was amazing to watch the lightning bounce around the mountains, seemed to go on for ages
