What do you usually buy? Images or products?

Marketing makes huge efforts nowadays to improve the value of the products by creating strong images to asociate the product with. How do you decide about buying two seemingly identical products and same price category? Personally, I try to evaluate their quality, not look at their brand or the advertising made for them. Am I the only one who thinks like this?

I do go by the brands.The best brands have never disappointed me so far.They know how to keep their customers in tact.We sure get benifitted bu their survival game.
