Dog lovers-cat haters

now, ive a dog and don't really like cats. Most of my friends who have dogs are the same and those with cats dislike dogs. Is this common through all cat and dog owners?...Do many people have both?

I like both dogs and cats although in general I tend to like cats more. I like certain types of dogs like pug and white terrier. I don't care for fierce types of dogs that attack people or other animals. Wish I had a dog and a cat but I don't currently have any since we live in an apartment. Not enough room.

yes i agree that big bloodhounds etc. are a pollution...by dogs/cats it's more the soft furry cudly ones i talk of

I have a cat and a dog. I love the boh very much, and I don;t think I could ever dislike an animal..but that's just me. I'm sure there's lots of people like you, and lots of people who just like cats and people who like both. :]

thanks for that...just that most people i know are into either dogs or cats not usually both :) i think it could be because i've never owned a cat

We have two dogs,we have also had both,and never any problem,they just all got on.Once we had a cat who would follow his best friend and walk across the side fence to our home...a Opossum...lol,also have recieved many a wonderful picture or pps through email with the cutest dog and cat pics.Different strokes for different folks,we do have a huge soft spot for dogs.

I use to have both, and they got along good. Now I have dogs, but cats don't bother me much.
