I love to have Sausage, potatoes, onion and green beans. All you do is leave green beans in their juice, add water if needed, add the rest of the ingredients, cook about 30 minutes for all the flavors to go together. You can add salt and pepper to taste if you want.
You can have it over a bed of rice, or by itself with bread and butter.
Good Luck

Does the 4 ingredients include cooking spray & oil, herbs & spices?
I would select ingredients very similar to you. Certainly the potato and carrots. I would also choose onion & chicken pieces.
It will then be easy to make a chicken casserole.

Thanks for the reply. I was just looking for ideas for a meal, as was drawing a blank for dinner. We ended up going to the grocery store and I purchased items to make sandwiches for dinner.

Browned hamburger, pasta, Cream of mushroom soup, and grated cheddar-jack cheese. Makes a good cassorole. This is only a base. From here, I can add onions, peppers, spices or mushrooms.

Using your four ingredients I would make potato burgers. Grate your potatoes into the gr.beef, add garlic and onion if you have it,a little salt and pepper, mix well and form into patties. Cook them just like regular hamburgers. When they are done remove from the pan. In to the pan dripping stir a little flour and milk to make the sauce for the patties. I'd just cook the carrots as a side dish. My mom makes these for us kids whenever we visit. It was our favorite meal when growing up. If i choose 4 ingredients for myself I'd choose chicken, pasta, diced tomatoes, and provolone cheese. I make a great dish out of these. It's my daughters favorite meal.

Both ideas do sound easy. Thanks for the suggestions. I would make the pork chops, but only eat pork once a week because they are really costly here and had pork chops yesterday.
