I see nothing wrong with boys and girls being friends. I have a close friend who is a guy. I can share most anything with him and would prefer to talk to him than most of the girls that I know.

Of course girls can have boys who are just friends, just like boys can have girls who are just friends. It's 2008 and we all need to realize that friendship does not necessarily mean that your lover is cheating on you. If you're really that insecure, you hvae to re examine your relationship. I wouldn't put up with anyone who didn't let me be friends with whomever i wanted to be.

yes, ofcourse. Infact, its these friendship that opens up the mind of the person. If this doesn't happen, than, for sure, no gender will appreciate the need and importance of the opposite gender. All should be friends. And ofcourse, no limits should be crossed. Friends should remain friends, and nothing else, or there is only 1/2 a percent chance out of 100 that the relationship will continue till the end. Underage severe relationships are never going to survive (in most cases, IMO). So friends are always good, whether it be of whichever gender!

All relationships should start as friendships. Many should really stay that way but often young people, especially, feel that they should be looking for a boy/girl relationship to become 'love'. This creates all sorts of awkwardness which us older people sigh at. The trouble is that we can't teach you what is love and what is just infatuation. You have to learn that for yourself. Yes, everyone should have (and deserves to have) friends of both sexes.

yes all should be friends girls or boys should be..Nothing wrong mixing up with other genders.. the point being is learning what the girls and boys feel in certain situations.

yes, of course....men and women make great combinations for friends...just cntrol the hormones if you are in another relationship...if not, why not even explore more than friends...you can always go back to just friends...with great communication it can work.
