i dont want to be the parent mine were i love my parents very much but they failed at many things they dont think so but they did ihave many emotional problems etc... sometimes i feel like i try and be so oppisot it may not be the best i just dont want my kids to make the mistakes i did becuase of bad parenting

Dear Luckyash, No don't get upset dear.. No one becomes an irresponsible parent intentionally. There is no point in becoming just the opposite of your parents. You have known what all mistakes they did and try to see that you do not repeat them. Just be an understanding mother who is there for your kid. The Baby will understand that you love him / her and turn to you for everything. First you have to be a mother giving him full attention, then slowly become a friend to him as he grows up. You talk to him whenever you can and make him understand where he is going wrong. We are all here at mylot to help you out through this. So don't worry, go ahead and become a parent.You'll surely enjoy it...
