I met up with a friend last night, and we talked about lots of stuff -- from our careers to our lives.
He just made a career move -- by March 15, he would be working in Marikina (from Laguna by the way). So he shared the things he considered in making his career decisions. I shared my own set of insights too.
Our sharing led to the books we have read particularly books written by Paulo Coelho, one of which is Veronika Decides to Die. I have not really finished reading the book but my friend is on his last few chapters of the book. He said the book tells of complexity of life and all, then I asked him back with, "do you have suicidal tendencies?". He paused for a while and thought of things.
I butted in that it's a yes or no question, and he remained mum. Then I just shared my thoughts... I just told him maybe it really is not suicidal tendencies but the space and time you need to pause from the "busy" world. That's when he shared his thoughts on being an escapist. That he would rather escape the current situation and just go back when he is done with his diversion. :)
So, do you have suicidal tendencies? When you answer this just categorize your tendencies. :)
