It was a magnificent performance by Manchester United against Newcastle United at St James Park in a Premier League match yesterday. Manchester United won by 5 goals to 1 courtesy of goals by Wayne Rooney (2 goals), Cristiano Ronaldo (2 goals) and a Louis Saha goal. This means United have scored 11 goals in 2 league games against Newcastle this season after thrashing the same team 6-0 at Old Trafford a few weeks ago. With Arsenal being held 2-2 with Birmingham City, Arsenal's lead has been cut to only 3 points. This was a very important win for Manchester United. What do you think?

Extremely crucial indeed. As you have pointed out, this win has taken an even more significant form in the light of the Arsenal result. This brings us within 3 points of Arsenal. They wont go the rest of the season without dropping any more points and neither would we, but given our squad depth we look better placed to secure the title. Hopefully the players would be able to perform as they did against Newcastle. It was good to see Wayne among goals. It had been some time since he last scored a brace in a game. Ronaldo was as usual his brilliant self and Saha grabbed a goal as well. All in all it was a decent performance against not such a great team.

An unbelivable night for MAN UTD and a nightmare for Castle.. 2 matches and 11 goals against them... it's good to see Rooney on the scoresheet and to see that Saha is steadily recuperating from an injury.. A good night of footbal for the MU fans.. Arsenal lost points and this makes victory even sweater.. pity about Edourdo though..
