it is important, being our creator we must know his name.to give thanks to him for giving us life and this planet that we are in.as far as i know nobody knows what is his name.but the bible says we should call him FATHER....so when i pray i address it to FATHER thru his son Jesus Christ....

Please read Psalms 68:4 and if your version is correct it will say sing praise to his name YAH meaning the father and the sons name that was Yashua or Yeshua there was no J in the time of Christ they spoke Aramaic. Impossible to be Jesus and his true name is very important please read ACTS 4:12

what was written in the bible is not the actual translation of God's name...in fact there is only a few who knows his name but now there is none because they cant even write it down so they wrote down what they think is the right pronounciation of God's name.but in the new testament its clearly stated that FATHER should be called to GOD.Jesus is not the GOD but he is a God...he is the intercessor for God the father...as he have said "no one can come to the FATHER except by me(jesus)"

Ok we agree when they composed bible books according to history the roman church leaders at the council of Niecea and they also later translated the books of the bible but we all have to work out our own salvation You know I used to believe in the name Jesus so strong I would have taken a bullet to the head. Until it was revealed to me that there was no J in the time when Christ lived so I studied to find his name would have been called Yashua or Yeshua and that the name Jesus was a title or a mistranslation because Yashua translates to Joshua not Jesus. So my point is if you were living back around the time of christ and acts which was written shortly after says to repent and be baptised in the name "of" Jesus which would have been Yashua or Yeshua people have forgot it is very old and many things have been changed

I know one thing, His name sure isn't Allah.
It doesn't really matter to me, if I were mute I think He would still love me.
