Today was the 1st time i traveled by the public bus....and it wasn't pleasant. I got hit on the nose and my nose started bleeding. Then when i thought my troubles were over, when exiting the bus i tripped on my shoe lace and fell flat on the floor out of the bus. It was so humiliating. That was the last time i will ever travel by the public bus.

I am sorry that you had such a bad time for your first time alone on a bus. I used to have nose bleeds when I was teenager and they could come on at anytime. It is unfortunate that you tripped on your shoe laces and fell over. It is lucky that you didn't hurt yourself but understandably you felt humiliated. I once tripped when getting out a a friend's car and fell flat on to a grass verge. I think that you might be pleasantly surprised if you tried going on a bus alone and the experience was a success. Good luck.

What a horrible experience! Was it a city bus or a bus like Greyhound? I don't enjoy either. I have vowed to somehow always have my own car. Greyhound's night mare was to be seated in the back near the stinky bathrooms in July. AC wasn't working. Ugh. Then to top it off we got laid over....aka stranded in DC for a couple hours. City buses were just scary to me.

Well you had Quite a day! But think of all you learned. The first lesson was to keep your nose close to your face, and the next was to tie your shoe-laces.These are valuable lessons that most people who travel on that bus already know. Now you Know them too! You can now travel on that bus without being embarrassed. Go with God!
