Robin Williams is one of my favorite comedians/actors and always has been. I think Good Morning Vietnam was one of his best movies and I'm having the pleasure of watching it sometime today since it was on last night and I taped it. The only thing I didn't like about it was that he died at the end. His antics through the whole movie kept me laughing!
What did you think of the movie? Are you a Robin Williams fan?

It has been many years since I saw Good Morning Vietnam - but I do recall liking the movie and the music :) I do not know how I will feel about it today - as I have changed in my preferences - (I no longer tolerate certain so called adult themes and situations)
I do think Robin Williams is a fine actor, the one that I saw that I could not at all recommend, however - is one hour photo. though not because of his acting skills.

The music was from "my time" and I especially enjoyed listening to all of it during the movie.

Who couldn't be a Robin Williams fan?! He's a nut case!! He's so much fun to watch!! And the song he'd sing "Good Morning Vietnam!" well you won't believe this but I have a chihuahua named Peanut and every now and then I'd sing the song to him just like Robin Williams does in the movie except I'd say "Good Morning Peanut!" and he'd howl and howl!! We'd have a grand ole time! Peanut's going to be 10 on the 23rd of July and so is getting up in age now so we're spoiling him more and more rotten because we know his time with us is so limited. He's been a good ole guy all through the years.

Yes I am a big fan of Robin Williams and Good Morning Vietnam was one of my favorites. Mrs Doubtfire has special meaning for me as one time when I was testifying in court for one of my cases the DA said that I was winning the jurors over with my Mrs Doubtfire accent!LOL. I never knew I sounded like that!

I have always been a HUGE Robin Williams fan, ctry, going back to the "Mork ans Mindy" days. He has a true genius for characters. I do remember Good Morning Vietnam, but it's been so long since I've seen it. Maybe you can fill me in on some of the details after you re-watch it.
