What is the best moment of your life, so fat?

I think the best moment for me was marrying my husband, my life changed so radically when this happened. However, I didnt know this at the time. Now, when my first child was born I was very aware this was a high point of my life. So, how about you what is your high point so far?

I'm with lecanis on this one. It has to be the night that my daughter was born. Nothing that has ever happened to me comes close, save for the day that I married my daughter's mother. We're still married and will celebrate 22 years this year.

Wow, both of those sound like a long time to me! My hubby and I are just coming up on four years of marriage this May, though we'll have been together for nine years.

Thank you. 18 years isn't too shoddy either. Your daughter looks very sweet.

*giggles* I'm not sure the best moment in my life had anything to do with being fat. Sorry, I know it was a typo, but it was a funny one. :P It's hard to choose just one moment. Since every moment has precursors in other moments, and paths that were taken in order for that moment to occur, I have a hard time separating out just one from the string of related events. The birth of my son would be it if I were just choosing on, I suppose. It was so odd for me, because I was determined I wasn't having any kids for so long, and then just when I started saying "maybe in a year or two", I found out I was pregnant. It was pretty much right before my 25th birthday, and my husband was taking me to Mackinac Island for my birthday, so I spent the entire trip walking around the Island and thinking about it. Then the pregnancy was horrible and scary, and I spent the whole time thinking my child and I were both going to die... so that moment when he was finally there and in my arms and healthy and alive was the best thing ever.

Getting my second chance at life after a prognosis of 3 hours to live. BTW just curious do you have great grandchildren now? Your profile says you are 88 years old so I presume your kids are grandparents by now.

One of my best moments in life was one morning back in 1955 when the ORION a P & O boat sailed under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I was then 25 years old. A completely new life started for me. On board that ship an Australian said to me, with the name of ROLAND you could not go wrong. I asked him WHY ? He replied the person that signs the currency notes is called Roland Wilson. I shall never forget that he wished me well in the financial world. I ultimately studied and qualified as an Accountant at Sydney University in 1966.

Becoming a single mom! I know that sounds weird and maybe a little crazy ;) It taught me to be a little more stronger, independent, and forced me to grow up. I learned to be a little less selfish and got to see the world through my son's eyes. In doing all of this I got closer to my son

The best moment of my life so far is marrying my husband also and being able to get through life with him. I am also very proud to be able to stay home and work online now. I have worked for many years outside of the home and it was just not my cup of tea.

I think i still haven't reach my high point of being a woman or as a person, I am still single and i don't any idea if i will get married someday. I am not sure about getting romantically involved anyway.

The best moment for me was when my parents understood me and my attitudes. They were quite worried about me being friends with lots of boys. Though they still remain good friends with me. I married the boy they choose for me. The second best was when I gained my MIL's love and affection. I could bet no other DIL is blessed like me to have a MIL like mine. Then comes the time when I had my kids. Both were high points in my life. The decision when I took during my first delivery have given me a prodigical daughter. My son is also not less to her. When I came to know that both are prodigies, that is the highest points of my life so far.

Like you it was my husband then my children. Now that I have received two grandsons that is the high point of my life. I love them all very much. I wouldn't change a thing. The next high point I would love to have is receiving a granddaughter.
