My mom is very good at making delicious dishes from leftovers. I love eating rice-paratha(an Indian dish) which my mother prepares out of the left over rice. Its very delicious and my brothers love it too. I, too, love to experiment with the leftovers and winter season is a good time for it because of two reasons: first, the left overs are almost fresh in winters, and second, I can use leftovers from lunch too(in summers, lunch leftovers tend to turn stale by the next day).
p.s.-Although, speaking from a health point-of-view, (as I've heard my friends saying), we should avoid eating leftovers as they might cause indigestion.

Oh, I am coming to your house. I like leftover pizza, burritos, steak, fruit, salad. I seldom have leftovers. I can eat good chili just about any time.

I've never been to Kansas. Do you guy's have Tornado's like they always say? They, as in everyone. :o) Curious.......
That is my worst NIGHTMARE! Tornado's! I've actually been told by my grandmother,(who use to live in Willow Springs, Mo.) about some scary tornado's.
I've actually had nightmares too. (:oP

Hi marilynlynn,
If there's any sort of potato dish leftover from last night, it's guaranteed to be scrumptious after a night in the fridge.
Funny thing about potatoes - they become progressively more delicious as they age n the fridge.
Just like pizza - that's a close second choice for left-over breakfast (and lunch, and dinner)... any variety will do, but the real meat varieties are better than processed meat types... and Mexican style, with lots of hot peppers, add that burst of flavor so desperately needed on a slow-starting day.
The thing about pizza leftovers is that they lend themselves so well to the microwave if there's a nip in the air - otherwise they're nice and chewy straight from the fridge.

Yes indeedeedo, potatoes are great leftovers. Especially the lil'-red potatoes. Fry em up with some eggs, and you're good to go.
I still think left over kabobs are my first choice though.
Yum,yum,yum!
All this talk is making me really hungry. Better go see whats left over... :o)
See-ya Dodoguy.......

I ate leftover lasagna too, I cooked a lot last night, not thinking it's just me and husband at home. I don't like throwing food, I feel bad about it..so if there's any leftovers from last night dinner, either I eat it or cook it again in a different meal.
