There are all these wireless providers and so many kinds of phones, blackberrys, flip phones, camera phones, you name it, it probably exists. I'm thinking about getting a new phone. I'm using prepaid right now through Virgin Mobile. It gets really good reception, but the prepaid minutes go in no time at all. What kind of provider and phone has best worked for you?

After having used several different phone services, all of whom seemed to be more interested in locking people into contracts and charging too much money, I finally got rid of them all and bought a TracFone. I bought the kind of phone that automatically doubles the minutes on whatever prepaid card I buy, and use VOIP for most of my calls, so we haven't run out of minutes yet and are quite happy with the service. This would not work for people who socialize on the phone, but ours is mostly for emergency use when traveling or if the power is out.

I had a TracFone once and I absolutely hated it. In fact I think the phone is still around here somewhere. As for VOIP, I've heard of it, but don't know anything about it and will look into it also.

I thinkthere are a lot of differences between phones and service providers between here and thwe US but I have had mobile phones for years and had a lot of good ones. My favourite though hass to be the Samsung slider range. They have a lot of features are very reliable and easy to use - and they look great! I also use the Orange service provider as although they are not the cheapest they have the best coverage in my area, also they have always provided a good and honest service unlike others! I hope you enjoy whichever phone and provider you go with! xxx

I like using smartphone because it has all features. All you need is to install the software and games and it can have anything. Nowadays the new feature for smartphone perhaps is the Wifi. You can get online free of charge and that's great!
