Am i the only one who this happens to, that somebody says or does something reeeeally mean, and then everything that resembled progressing to feeling a tiny bit better is destroyed? The worst part of it is that the somebody was my own half-brother. My sister thinks that its crucial to my chances of getting over my E.D. and out of my depression is to stop seeing and talking to him, at least untill i am recovered. What would you, as fellow myLot members, suggest that i do?

No one can tell you what you should do. You should do what you feel is right and what you feel will be best for you. I don't believe that a complete "recovery" is ever possible, but if you want the best shots, then do everything you can to put yourself in a safe zone.

If he's the problem and is doing things to get you down, then stop seeing him. You need to worry about you, not him if he doesn't care about you.
