When i was in bookstore, i saw a book "baby name" in many languages and its meaning. Some are taken from bible and even the literature book. Some name are similar, like Joseph, Jose, Josephine, Josefina, etc. And the meaning are nice also... How about you, if you have a baby... Baby girl or baby boy... What will the name you give? Why?

Hello manya_pearl. If its a boy I would name him Gabriel because of the Angel Gabriel. If its a girl, Im not pretty sure what name I will choose. It could be Chiqui, Mikaela, Belle and Ayesha. I choose Chiqui because I have a friend named Chiqui whom I find her name simply unique. Mikaela because its also unique and its the female version of Michael, Belle because of Belle from the Beauty and the Beast. One of my favorite cartoons of all-times. And finally Ayesha because my friend whom her sister gave birth to a daugther named Yesha. I find it unique and cute. I just added the A so, they wouldn't think I copied the exact name from her daugther.

If I had a boy I always liked the name Dylan Michael. However a lot of people I know these days use that so I would have to go to Dean Michael or something like that. It would take me months to pick out another girls name.

I have two children and it didn't matter what I wanted to name then it had to be a joint decision with their father. He wanted to call our son Fox, Raven or Rex. He got called Ryan and now he is 12 years old he is happy with his name. He wanted to call our next son Teo so I said how about Leo. So we called our baby Leo as in the brave lion. I would love to have a little girl. I like the name Holly as in the plant. Harvey is a lovely name for a boy.

im so excited to have a kid. my wife and i decided that if it's a girl, we would name it Isabelle and if it's a boy -- definitely a Miguel. I just love spanish/mexican names. Makes it sound so romantic. My nephew's name is Kurt Gabriel. His dad is an avid fan of Kurt Cobain and my mom insisted that he gets God's messenger's name... which is Angel Gabriel.

Even I happen to think the nameI would give to my son.... if it were a female call Giulia, if it were a male Luca, Gabriele or Alessandro. I like the classic names of my country.

i honestly don't think of having a baby yet so i have no ready name for them. i want to have a baby at the age of 27 and that's 4 years more. come to think of it i have one good name in mind that i think can be perfect for my child if she will be a girl. maybe i will name her "sofia", i like that name because it means wisdom and it sounds very good to the ears. maybe i can add another name to that to make it appear longer and better but i have no other name in mind yet. my boyfriend and i once talked about having to name our baby and we agreed that if our baby will be a boy then he will be the one to give him a name. in that case i will never need to think of a name for a boy because my future hubby will be in-charge. of course i can suggest if he wants my opinion. we can make a good team in creating a unique name for our babies. :)
