question about acne scars and spots

I had acne for years and now I am finally getting rid of it...and I was just wondering what to do for acne scars and acne spots...has anyone ever used anything for this or anything..bought anything for it...or know anything that coudl help me..I don't hae many but I don't really like the one's that I do have..so please help if you can!

i dont know where you live but i found that in the summertime just laying out in the sun a few hours a couple times a week help reduce the signs of acne scars.thats if you skin is not sensitive. i dont really have any other suggestions.sorry.

Sorry, but I disagree with the laying in the sun thing. It could actually make the scars worse, and at the very least will add to skin damage and wrinkles.

punlonnjack,I agree with you and I have the same problem with you, so in order to protect my skin,I avoided any chance that would make my skin explose in the sun.Although I dont have any way to help your skin speedy recovery,I can tell you some methods to avoid your acne scars becoming worse.Do not spend too much time in front of computer,less juck food,more exercise......In a word,healthy life habits contribute to your acne scars.

I had a series of laser treatments done by my dermatologist. I was fairly expensive, but it did a fabulous job at getting rid of scars and shrinking pore size, as well as got rid of some fine lines. I had a series of 3 treatments done over 2 months, and it was totally worth it! I've tried LOTS of over-the-counter meds, and nothing really helped. Good luck!
