Hi. I have been with Mylot for over a year but I am still confused as to the 24 hour cut off time for our daily earnings. Do we get paid from the time we got paid to the next time it updates or is cut off from like 12:00 midnight until 12:00 midnight daily? I know some days my earnings carry over so I am not sure when Mylot actually cuts off the time for our daily posts as to how they figure out what to pay us each day. I am confused. If we get paid at 10:00 a.m. today, then do we get to earn until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow for our total daily earnings to show up or does some of it carry over to the next days earnings?

The cut off time is 12am US Central time or 1am US Eastern. I wrote to them asking this back when I first started to find out when the cut off time is. I hope that helps for you. Depending on where you are located you'd have to determine the time difference to central to see what the time would be there for you.

You're welcome. I'm glad that I could help in this. I know when I first joined I figured there had to be a cut off time and I searched but couldn't find the answer so finally just wrote and asked. It does come in handy to know that if you are trying to do so much by a certain time.

Ok. Thanks for clearing this up. I knew there had to be an actual cutoff time because they have to have time to figure how much we are due for the credit the next day. I never was sure what time zone they were on either. So, it is 1:00 a.m. for me since I am on EST. Thanks.

I think, Mylot uses CST time as cut off time, for calculating our earnings.

The times they post our earnings vary greatly. Somedays it's done by 9 a.m. central time. Then some days 11. It depends on their system and amount of traffic for that particualr day. they also update ever so often during the day as well. Not a lot of times but a few times I have seen my earnings jump and decrease as well. So it's hard to set a certain time that they set the earnings into our earnings page. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yeah. I know it. I know they update at different times of the day, but my question is what hours do we get to earn before they actually cut it off and add it for a days worth of earnings. I think it is midnight to midnight. Anything earned in that time frame gets credited, I think and anything past that, gets credited for the next day? Is this what you think also?

I honestly think they cut off at midnight where ever they are. Then they update about 8/9 hours later. Why do I think this? Because I've not done much one day because I go to bed early and get up in the middle of the night and post like mad. I earn a few pennies at the next earnings update but even if I only do a little the next evening I still earn pretty good the following day.

That is exactly what I think also. I think they cut the earnings off at a certain time and then everything earned past midnight gets credited for the next days earnings. We get credited each day for prior earnings the day before.

sorry boss, you are senior to me regarding mylot engagement. But you can help me obviously by sharing your experience in detail as much as you can.

Ok. Welcome to Mylot. The best tip that I can give you is to post responses to alot of discussions with information that pertains to the topic of the discussion and always respond to others when they respond to you. Try not to type one word answers. You really need to use some detail in your response so that would require 3 - 4 sentences. The more responses and sicussions you make per day, the more you earn. That is my experience with it, but others may have a different way they use.

In Australia cut off is about 2:00 Eastern Summer Time. I cannot understand what you are worrying about. In Accounting , the technical terminology for cut off is called THE PERIOD CONVENTION. You can determine this as you please. You are only slicing the long period into a number of shorter periods. In the long run the earnings accumulate to a specific figure.

I'm not worrying about anything. I am just simply asking a question. the only concern I have is that I try to set a goal here each day but I need to know when they daily earnings start and stop so I can achive the daily goal. I need to bele to plan my hours that I am active here is why. I know it all adds up at some point and time, but I am setting a daily goal for myself so I can keep better track of my progress here.

I haven't tracked this in awhile, but last time I did to me, the cut off seemed to be 1am CST.

Ok. Someone else said the cut off time is at 1:00 a.m. EST. They said they wrote to Mylot and that is what they told them. I think I will just plan for it on that. It is hard for me to keep track because I start working one day and continue through the night to the next day is why I am asking also.

I was just wandering because I begin working online about 5:00 p.m. one day and I work through until about 8:00 a.m. the next day so I was just wandering what time Mylot cuts off the daily earnings and starts the new days earnings.

I am glad you started this. Though the mylotter said the cut off was 1 AM EST, it doesn't show up until later in the morning. Like right now it is 8:40 AM and it said my earnings were updated 22 hours ago.. So does this mean that they already did yesterdays earnings and just haven't updated it on my profile yet?

Thanks. I think the earnings do cut off for the day at 1:00 a.m. but they don't give us credit until later in the day, correct, so anything earned after 1:00 a.m. goes towards the next days credit. If your earnings say they have been updated 22 hours ago, then it should have gave you credit 22 hours ago and you will get your next credit in a couple more hours or so for the previous days work.

Yeah. I know when that it updates every 24 hours or so but sometimes later than that on the weekends but I was just wandering the time frame we have to earn in. Like midnight to midnight and what time zone Mylot is on.
