When it comes to giving advice, how good of an advice giver are you?

It all depends on what I am giving advice on. It all depends on the person I am giving the advice to also.
If I know alot about a certain subject then I can give good advice but it is up to the person to whether or not they want to adhere to it.

Well, maybe I should have phrased that better! What areas do you like giving advice in, in otherwords. Which ones are your strongest? :)

I can give good advice to people who want to get organised and I can also help people set a budget for themselves.

Hmmm...I am not sure how to respond to this. What is tripping me up is the word 'advice.' Part of my work involves private life coaching sessions. I have never really seen what I do as 'giving advice.' To me it is not my place to advise anyone about the choices they are making.
I see my position either personally or professionally as more of a mirror...or to ask questions that will allow others to re-frame the way they are looking at things. But when all is said and done it is their responsibility to choose. It is risky business to 'advise or tell' anyone to follow what we 'say.' If it doesn't work out...then they may blame the other person...or not discover what they could have by choosing a path and accepting the consequences. In the end life is all about choices...and those are up to each individual.
So I cannot answer directly under your term of giving 'advice.' However...if you were to ask me how good I am an offering suggestions, mirroring...asking others what THEY think, providing tools and skill-sets..that is something I am good at...and my many years of experience in the life coaching field speaks for itself.
