What're your thoughts on CashCrate & TreasureTrooper?

What're your thoughts on CashCrate & Treasure Trooper, and other sites like this? I've been hearing some nasty things about them and they aren't as lovely as they make them sound, What about you? What're your experiences with them?

I don't like the cash websites where you have to "fill out surveys" and "do some deals." Inevitably, you give them your e-mail address, they spam the heck out of you, and that's that. I don't know about payout, but think of the spam.

Well with Gmail I have so many filters that I get virtually no spam at all. 'Cept with all my filters.. I sometimes miss important emails as it tends to filter them out and automatically delete them..

I haven't had any personal experience with either, but someone I consider a reliable source (she runs a site, Paid Opps, that investigates various ways to make money online), considers Cashcrate to be at best a waste of time. She broke it down that you could spend an hour on there and only make a couple of bucks.
