I knew a woman once who always wore her good clothes. She said that she could be dead at the end of the week and what good would the clothes be then , sitting in the wardrobe.I can see her reasoning but i still cant do it.I put my good clothes away and wear them at the weekend or sometimes not at all.I prefer my tracksuit during the week.Do you wear your good clothes and get value out of them or do you prefer to hide them away just in case?

Well yes I do wear my good clothes usually when I have to go out and meet people. My mom says that most impressions are gotten from the way you dress so I take that advice very well. Some of my good clothes don't come in contact with me because I can't find them in my wardrobe. I can be pretty messy sometimes and forgetful, if I may add so some of my good clothes don't get the chance to be worn when I go out of the house.

As a child I was always forced to dress up to go out to town with my family. As a young adult of course I rebelled against this and went out in what I had available and what was comfy. Now I tend to make more of an effort and my wardrobe is certainly smarter than it have ever been before. I don't wear jeans and the only track suit I have ever owned was one when I was at school, but I can see that they are comfortable. My daughter wears these hideous hoodie things, but there is no doubting how practical and warm they are. The one thing that I absolutely refuse to wear however, are trainers. Peoples feet must absolutely stink after a day in them. I am in the middle of a middle aged gap year, so my work suits are just gathering dust - and that is just how I like them!!

Most of everything I own would be considered good clothes, I don't have much other wise. My most casual things are a few polos and kakhis that I wear on saturdays sometimes when straightening up around the house. During the week I am in suits and ties for work and at church. Other than that I have my pajamas I wear to bed but that is about it. I am fairly dressy for many reasons but not because I am afriad of dying on the spot, that sounds like a paranoia to me which is not a healthy way to live.
