It is only ourselves who can stop us from succeeding in life

Even though i know that it is only myself who is stopping me from doing things with my life i still cannot get past my block.I, like many others want to write. I have submitted some material and always been rejected but instead of keeping going i stop for months and lose heart.How can i stop myself from stopping myself?

I gave up with publishers and agents as they seem to be more work than writing a book is! Now I publish my own stuff on lulu.com for free.. but am saving up the $100 needed to buy an ISBN number for one of my books so it will be on some major book lists when people search for a book on that topic. If you have a hundred dollars for each book you write, or, if you are real good at getting the word out about your book, I think success is very possible. I'm more concerned with getting my books written than anything else.. So I forget about the rest.. But I agree it sometimes is hard to get the words flowing.. for me it takes lots of quiet reflection first.. almost like a total unwinding, then it flows. I'm very motivated by what it is I have to say! Even the mythical adventure I'm working on is written to say something specific..
