I love the movie. I watched all three of them. Shrek, if he is a real thing - is the kind of guy I will surely fall in love with.
Forget about his looks. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.
Forget about how he smells. Roses don't really smell that sweet in reality. Smell it again.
Forget about his background. Relationship will survive in love.
Forget about his character. He may not be a real gentleman but he has a heart.
Oh well, I may be dreaming. But if you will think and consider it... there will be a SHREK in all of the guys out there. Not too good looking but with a big heart.
Are you a SHREK? Will you marry me if I decided to divorce my husband? Will you rather marry a SHREK instead of our jerk bf? Do you like Shrek?

Well I'm not married but I reckon my partner has many Shrek similarities! And I mean that in good jest. I love Shrek as I love my partner and yes the heart is there but some of the personality traits - well when I watch Shrek I shake thy head!!! Reliable, Genuine, Loyal, Vocal, Never Dull and always manages to make me laugh! So as you say "He may not be a real gentleman but he has a heart" practically says it all.
