I have never have a rush like this before. And I have never felt my adrenalin kick this hard in a long while. Since I signed up with myLots last week... I am stoppable. My God. I was never prepared for this. I've never see it coming. Nobody told me that this is ADDICTIVE. Now I can't sleep. And even if I do... I am dreaming about it. Now I can't finish my chores. Who cares... it's my mess and nobody messes with my mess! Now I can't think of any else but myLot... whatever happens to myLove? Now I can't eat. Because I am always in front of the computer I have no time to cook. Now I can't talk. All I do is think about discussions... discussions... discussions. I need to come up with new discussions. NOW TELL ME. Is this a ground for divorce?

LOL, Ruthinian. I would think you should ask your husband, not us here at myLot in the same boat!

LOL... he doesn't know about all this things. Good thing he is at work. I do it only at work. I just hope I don't talk on my sleep (I snore, though) or else he would think if myLot is a name. Take care friend. Guess you have to deal with a crazy friend for now.

So it happens to you, too...Nice to hear that! And when you wake up in morning you check if anyone has replied to your discussion, and you feel like you have something to tell to anyone on this site, and you feel like you can communicate very interesting things with people with no faces, but with minds, souls and habbits like yours... All of these all of a sudden...And what satisfaction you have when someone marks your answer as the best, when you check it out several times to see how exactly that answer was so catchy...and so on! That is why we are glad to have you here, and all the "minds" and "souls" populating mylot who think and feel the same!

Hahaha, I don't think so. I just think that you should be able to prioritize your responsibilities so that you can enjoy writing here at mylot. It is really addictive in the beginning, but eventually, as you go along, you should be able to set a certain time for writing. Mylot should be a place where you can also write about the things that come around your day-to-day life. If you don't have any other activities but sitting in front of the computer, you mind eventually find yourself really bored with life. So go ahead, enjoy writing, but don't forget the rest of your world!

Don't worry you will getover it . The rush does wear off. Things will taper down and you will be able to go days even weeks without tapping into the Mylot fix. It did not take me long. You learn that everyone will still be here even if you are not and the discussions go on and there will still be some here when you do log back in. Learn to chill a little. Shalom~Adoniah

yes, just ask your heart, your feeling. like heat, humidity and tax rates, corruption falls into the "everything is relative"category.

sorry, not corruption. it's your feelings.it falls into the "everything is relative".you are addicted to mylot, then you maybe neglect something more important.just like your fanmily or husband. i think maybe you can try not to surf internet for a couple of days.then you can find out what's the most important thing you want to.

Hi ruthinian, It is funny that I too faced a similar situation and also dreamed of mylot and having non-stop discussions. But, after few day I became normal and everything is normal now. It is just the excitement about a new thing and it will come over. Gradually you will get used to mylot and this excitement will be over but still you cannot live without mylot. It has become my everyday routine and whenever I get time, I check mylot for any new and interesting discussions even if I am not prepared to reply. I just go thru all the discussions and enjoy reading them. Note : It is not a ground for divorce :) .. Take care of your family as you used to do and you will really enjoy being a part of mylot. Take care..
