Yahoo Messenger or Skype.. which is better?

I really don't like the new themes or skin of the latest Yahoo Messenger. Well, it's not related to what I will asking you. Which do you think is very convenient to use, Skype or Yahoo Messenger?

i think skype good in video callin, but sure yahoo is more stable.

Yes, skype is a lot better compared to yahoo messenger in video calling.

nope...i disagree.. The new skype is way more stable an doesnt require you to be online to view your conversations

Well, I use yahoo messenger when I wish to chat someone without needing to talk to that person. But if I do need to call, then I use skype. I find the calling set up ins skype better as compared to yahoo which always is cut. So I have both applications on my computer.

i think YAHOO MESSANGER is best i hve SKYPE but i didnt used it i think SKYPE is diffucult than ym although YM catches variuos it is easy to add friend and we can IM for me YM is the best:-) thanks good day

I like yahoo messenger. You can control you can see you online etc. Therefor they have to send a request and stuff. Skype isnt to bad. I use that for my MyspaceIM. However I dont get on skype to often...

Skype Messenger is pretty easy to use and when you transfer files to other users it is much faster. I don't know with yahoo. It's just it catches viruses very easily. There was one time when I did not know that the computer I'm using had a virus, it just types by itself. And it really pisses me off. Anywayz, thanks for your reply though.

you should also try using skype for voice calling or conferencing. also, transferring files from skype is much faster.

try msn and skype... you will feel the difference .... just using one ... you can't decide that which one is better.

I prefer skype. I am not a big fan of yahoos latest beta version. Skype is easy, various features, user friendly, good communication bandwidth. Whatever yahoo is old and gold.
