Does anyone ever talk to their Spirit guilds?

All the time, I am guided, get messages, and yes I will ask them for help or guidence. It is natural for people to do so, think of it children have "imaginary" friends. Yes some is based on the child's imagination, but how many are being guided and loved by angel, spirit of deceased loved one, or spirit guide, only to be taught that NO it is just their imagination. I would think it is more natural to communicate with our guides than not, it is just that to often through lack of understanding or fear, we are taught that it is wrong, or not to do it. Or that it is only our imagination. The tricky part is knowing when it is a truly blessed guided conversation, or when it is more of a our thought process or even something less than positive. dessa

I wish! People around here are taught that spirit guides, ect. are demons doing Satan's work. So much nonsense is used to scare people into believing that they will be going to hell forever for communicating with the devil. I for one am sick of those teachings, so when someone is preaching at me I just pretend that I am listening but I'm really ignoring them.

hi ethanzap, i have communicated to my spirit guides for many years; mainly through clairaudience and automatic writing. i ask for their guidance concerning serious life issues as well as more mundane ones like finding a good parking space. i know they do exist because sometimes while i'm driving they'll tell me to take a certain road. when i do listen to them i tend to discover that there is no traffic on that road. one of them is named "cat" i think. he/she/it always finds me great books to read. another one, "aaron", i think that is his name, always pushes me into money making opportunities. none of my spirit guides have ever told me to do anything negative, so i know they are good beings here to help me. you should talk more to your guides too. mostly they are here to help you. as long as you use your good judgement and view their advice objectively before you act on it, you should be fine.
