Talk about taking it personal - and it's in my home state yet! Maybe I should change my mind about being so pleased Pennsylvania may actually have a "voice" in the nominating process this election. For the story, go here: http://youdecide08.foxnews.com/2008/02/25/democratic-house-divided-pa-man-stabs-brother-in-law-over-election/ "The cut-throat world of presidential politics usually doesn’t go this far to get its point across. But Jose Ortiz, 28 — a Hillary Clinton supporter — is behind bars after stabbing his Barack Obama-supporting brother-in-law, Sean Shurelds, following a political argument, according to KYW1060.com. “One is a supporter of Barack Obama, the other is a supporter of Hillary Clinton, and an argument of words turned bloody when one brother-in-law tried to choke the other and the victim then responded with a knife and stabbed his brother-in-law in the stomach,” Montgomery County, Pa., District Attorney Risa Furman said, according to KYW. Shurelds was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and police allegedly found the weapon in a dishwasher at the Collegeville home where the two brawled. Ortiz faces felony assault charges and was being held on $20,000 bond. KYW reports that if Ortiz is convicted of the felony charge, he won’t be able to vote. On a side note: Voter registration records reveal that Ortiz, who supports Clinton, is registered Republican." And we thought the candidates were getting nasty! Annie

Wow... that's crazy! The debate is heated over Hillary and Obama. In my house all talks about the election are banned. This elections has households across the country divided. That's what they should of done though, agree to diagree and leave it alone!

That's the problem; while some people are able to discuss something rationally or, as you said, agree to disagree, there are others who can't seem to do that. I can't see what good resorting to violence does for anyone. Annie

This is really stupid and should be an embarrassment to all Americans. This election is emotionally charged more than usual, it seems, although things like this can happen any time.

Yeah this is nuts! This is why people have to let stuff go. If my views on politics are different than someone else's it's fine. It's not worth stabing your own Brother! Wow that guy must really love Hillary lol... what a nut case.

When you commented that we thought the candidates were getting nasty that was also going through my mind. I hope they checked Hillary for weapons before their debate last night, LOL, cause she is sure going postal right now about Obama. Hey theres a solution to the mess of political candidates we have this election, give them all their choice of weapons and let the best man/woman win.

I could see a fight over money owed on a Super Bowl bet. I could also see a fight over the sister/wife. But over politics? Why? They are both democrats. Either candidate will do a great job.Why just agree to disagree?
