Pain Killers

I'm so sick of pain killers, and I think my Doctor is using me as a gunina pig. I have a chronic pain condition, (4 decopressed cervical disks, resulting in bone spures and nerve damage). Have been advised surgery is too risky for me, my doctor has injected meds into my spine,(did not relieve constant pain), then put me on Lyrica,this caused wieght gain, and swelling, could not even put my shoes on one day! so now he has put me on Zonegran, which leaves me tired and confused, and cranky. I looked it up, it's usually used for seizures,which I do not have,I feel like this doctor is trying to drive me crazy with meds.i just want something that will work. so that I can funtion.
