If I were to go back to school today, I would learn the subject 'Geography' well. There is an important reason for this. In my school, there was no subject ' Geography' after Grade 8 and even till then I did not like this subject. I loved Maths, and scored very well. History was also my favourite subject and till date I remember what I studied well in school. Unfortunately, because I chose to give a stepmotherly treatment to Geography till 8th Grade and had it mercifully removed from the syllabus after that [which conveniently gave an escape route] I still find I am lacking in Geographical knowledge and look very foolish when talking about particular capitals, cities , location on the maps. Strangely, my husband loves Geography and hates History. In my case it is the reverse.
We often laugh at this diametrically opposite attitude of ours.
Another subject I would learn better is Geometry. There is a reason for this too. I was good in Arithmetic, algebra and Trignometry and was always the topper in class. But still, I hated pure Geometry once I went to the 12th Grade. My syllabus did not prepare me for the theorems and riders and MY CONFIDENCE WAS SHAKEN A BIT. My fatherinlaw taught me Geometry after I was 44 years old and I liked it. So, if I am given a chance I would learn these subjects very well and be the topper here.

If I go back to my UG and Post graduation I do not have any specifics except that I would strive for a University rank in my UG AND PG.. I got a gold medal in my Junior College but not later. They were all affiliated to a large university[there were hundreds of colleges under the belt of one university --one University for a state and students numbered in thousands/lakhs.My Junior college was termed PUC[PRE UNIVERSITY COURSE]

I wish I would go to the University and study a bachelor degree in Accounting. Back in 1987, I started a technical school in accounting but never finished.

back in 63 i was sent to school with my parents blessings and their money. but i did not last long enough to become an CPA. I went two years but I was not good in math..something that was a real problem with me...but I did go two years..and studied a lot of subjects but the main problem was I was poor in math.\\
I went into the Air Force and went to San Antinio and then Amarillo AFB but this was the beginning of the computer age and UNIVAC..so i spent four years learning the Computer..and when I got out I still was bad in math..but this is my one regret that I did not conquer math..but I did manage to retire from the Ford Motor Company..30 years..thanks for the post...it is not what you do in life that you regret..it is what you did not do...methinks.?

I would have liked to have had more career counseling. Heck I didn't know what kind of jobs were out there. It seemed like your choice was teacher, nurse, and a few others. I think high schoolers and even freshman in college should have courses that explore careers available. I don't think they have much of this in the schools yet. Wouldn't it be nice to know of jobs that really suited you and be able to go forward toward that career choice. I don't think vocational testing is enough. whit

Oh for pete's sake, I just mentioned the above and my kid comes home from school with a paper about the Nevada Career Information System. This is a website that has career awareness, educational planning and college info. Well, I guess there is some stuff out there now. Wish we had it way back when. whit

I think I'd like to take a course in photography. I always wanted to learn how to take nice photos and develop them. When I lived in Philadelphia, I signed up for a course once at the Fleishman Institute which is very good and is also free. A friend who was a photographer was going to let me use some of his equipment. Unfortunately, when you sign up you get put on a waiting list and it can take years to get into a course. I moved from the city before I got into a course but I still may take a photography course someday, somewhere.

If I could turn back the time and could
go back to college, I would enrol in
Psychology.
I have decided I wanted to be a psychologist
and understand better how the brain works
and what affects individual attitudes and
behavior.
I think that children today needs more
than just a teacher. They need to be
understood deep within.

If i have any oportunity to go back to school.I want to learn to draw.
When i was only a samll child maybe 5 year's old.i begin to learn to draw.i like to draw very much. Now i am 23 year's old and i have learn to draw more than 6 years.but most of the time is when i was young.as grow up,i give up to draw for learning hard to get into university.i have a pity for that.i think if i can insist to draw maybe now i can draw much better.at least i can draw what i have seen.
I think a good picture will take us into a wonderful world.maybe not exit in the world.I like to hold the view of good memeory.Always people like to take picture. It is quick and clear.but i don't like the feeling of picure. It is too ture to express the view.no room for us to immage.
I want to learn chinese drawing so much.

I would like to learn web design more. I very well may take a community college course if they offer what I want to learn. Though I have been very good at self teaching myself everything these past few years. There is always a book somewhere or a website or person that can help you teach yourself what you need to know.

I would love to learn dance. I love to watch others dance and, I have really week ankles and flat feet so, I could never learn dance but, if I could learn, and there were not limitations, that is what I would love to learn.
But, I feel that my education was good. So, I didn't miss anything.

I would like to go back and hit the sports field. I'm realising that I'm not the study kinds guy, although I pull off scores around 75%. I'm more interested in sports and would like to play a lot. If I have a chance to go back, then I would go and register myself to play for the school team.

I had 9 units of Spanish in college and I wish I continue learning the language because it would be quite handy now. I used to complain why we have to learn Spanish because it is not our national language and English is the medium of instruction. Now I see the necessity of being able to speak the language.

If I could go back and change things that I did, I would go to university and take a course that dealt with children. For example I would want to be a teacher or a pediatritian (wrong spelling) or a child physcoligist, something to do with working with kids. I am sorry that I didn't pursue somehing like this when I could have, but I didn't know back then how much I would love kids. I also can't stand seeing kids get abused so much these days, and so maybe that has something to do with my wanting to work with them. I have done some babysitting but it is with normal behaved kids and so it isn't the same as working with sick or bad kids.
I am 51 years old this year so I think it's too late for me to go back to school, or I would do it. Also the money would be a problem so I wouldn't be able to afford to go back.

I would very much like to learn about money, how to manage it and living with regards to money. I heard here in our country that the education department will try to incorporate money education to children so that they will learn more the value of money and influence them to be entrepreneurs at a young age. This were not taught to us in school and how I wished that at a young age we were taught how to manage our money.

Computer application. I wish I know more about it. Now that I am not working and find a lot of opportunity to make extra money online, I can take advantage of it. But the problem is, I dont know how to program or format or set the setting or open code. It's so frustrating. I had a blog approved at payperpost but I cant make it work. I cant get a code so that I will get paid for it. Help.

This might not be what you had in mind, but I have always regretted that I didn't get to learn a musical instrument. I think I would like to have been in the band and maybe have gone on to play in a classical orchestra. Other than that, I would like to have learned another language.
