My Step Daughter's Kitty Just Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

her name is Patches
she was 14 years old - we were gonna take her to the vet - but this afternoon I saw her laying on the floor - she didnt look good - called the vet - he said she prob wouldnt make the trip TO his office - he figured it would be best if she crossed at home
about an hour later she had a seizure and crossed the bridge - she purred til the end

I'm so sorry to hear that and feel sorry for that poor cat. But know that she knew that she was loved, which was probably why she was purring. And she was in the company of people who loved her before she crossed.
Quite a few years ago, my cat, Rodney, an orange cat, purred before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I was heartbroken and cried as I buried him in the backyard.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet Patches!! At least she knew she was loved and she had a long happy life. It's going to be hard the next few days for all of you but at least you have nothing to regret because you did love her. Her purring till the end was probably her seeing her angels coming to get her. Bless her sweet heart and of course yours as well.
