My Puzzle to the New Item on Mylot Earnings---Promotion

I don't really know what promotional is unless its where you get referrals and if so then for every i think five post they do you get a penny..so if you could get a really active member that would be great for you...but thats the only way that i know..and i dont even know for sure that thats what the promotion is but it makes sense to me

Hi William & others I emailed mylot staff today and asked them what this meant.. meaning the promotion column and they replied: This column that you are seeing is just a potential upgrad and no one is currently making any money from this. An announcement will be made when and if we decide to formally launch this. So it pretty much means nothing as of this afternoon because if you look now under your earnings tab.. you'll notice they took it away.

It's been my experience the "promotion" listing is the amount of pictures you've uploaded to your discussions each month. I uploaded 4 pictures and have 4 cents for February. Someone asked this question the other day but haven't heard if myLot responded. My theory hasn't been proven but this is my gut feeling.

Hi Willliamjisir.. I noticed you posted this three weeks ago and I read a few of the responses and no one seems to know for sure. I was wondering if it has something to do with posting our own photos on interests or for any that are included with topics and discussions. With the new camera we bought I have been adding more of my photos to interests and I know they go into the public domain and maybe that has something to do with promotions. Just a guess...I will read more to see if anyone prior to my reply came up with anything. Thanks for posting a question that was on my mind as well. Warm regards your friend Raia

What I've learned from that "promotion", as many discussion previously complaining about earning program on mylot with member's various concrete reasons, and mylot also had so many times keep on explaining the same facts for referrals, quality discussion and photo are the only way for members here to earn more; SO; mylot create new earning item for promotion. Presently, I got 0.02 for promotion, as I look or revise my previous discussions, it was given because my point of view in certain discussion gave out positive comment about mylot. I mean constructive comments about mylot. But for a perfect or authentic answer about this 'issue', I think we have to wait for "Mr Crash" to give us another alert message to all members. If not, no point for his existence here as member plus mylot staff. This is the second discussion I have received from my friends, about this promotion thing. I have never noticed it before and yet I check my earnings every day. Why have I not seen this before? Anyways, after I responded to the last discussions about this, I checked and I don't see this. It must be gone now, since I am responding 3 weeks after this discussion was started. In the other discussion people here thought it had to do with the pictures you download, but I wouldn't know that either, since I don't download any pictures here. Could they have been right? Do you or have you downloaded any pictures?

as i read about promotion i wonder also about it, but know they remove again from our earning those promotion word i dont even know for what that promotion is:)

Hi dear jisir, usually I seldom check my earnings. I go through my earnings after reading your discussion and found that I have got $0.01 in total for promotion in February. Thank you my dear friend, for giving me the pleasure of knowing the earning of extra 1 cent. Anyhow it is better than nothing and I treat it as a bonus lol. I think mylot has reason not to let us know how it is calculated otherwise everybody will rush for it and might create unhealthy competition lol, just guessing.

I am lost on this too so I look forward to what others have to say.

Hi, It is really surprising that only after reading this discussion I checked my earnings and saw $0.03 for promotion. I did not see it before. I am also surprised now how this works. Thanks for asking this question. At least someone will come up with a real reply. Regards..

Hi williamjisir, I do not know the correct explanation but to my knowledge it is for promoting mylot through a website or blog if we have owned one, because the otherday when I went through the terms I have found that mylot has a java script to put on our website or blog. Whoever joins through that will be taken as your referral and the referral earnings commision is being calculated in the promotion coloumn. But I am not so sure, but that's what I understood. It is correct that we have to clarify this from Crash next time. Good Luck sir.

Oh my. Thanks for asking this great question. I am also stuck in the same dilemma as you. I have read the responses from other mylotters but I dont think it is true. Lets wait for one Mr. Crash to give us the real story. I dont have any earnings from promotion yet.

hello william,its nice to know about you earn for promotion,,honestly i really dont know how to get hte earnings promotion,,but im happy for that earning promotion,,mylot earnings improve it..
