American Airlines responsible for woman's death?

United States

A 44-year-old woman died during her flight. The woman was a diabetic, complaining of not feeling well and being very thirsty. A flight attendant brought water to the woman, but the woman began having problems breathing. The crew ignored the woman's family's request for some oxygen twice. By the time the flight attendant FINALLY got around to bringing the oxygen, which was after a third request, the young 44-year-old woman had died. This should never have happened. i thought in the third request, the flight attendant gave her an empty oxygen tank?! That was so cruel and definitely the airline is to be blamed for it. They should have pay attention to the passenger especially the passenger was shouting she is dying!

You're right. I think they used three oxygen tanks, but it was said the tanks were empty.

That is terrible - I don't know why the flight attendant wouldn't bring her oxygen immediately -especially if her family was on board to let the attendant know about her medical history.

Maybe the woman has already having problems prior to the flight.
