if there is God, what could His nature be?

if there is God,why he did nothing to stop all the carnage and killing brought by the war.
God could prevented the war. why He chose silence when human beings were in need of him. that's what many people who are believe in God puzzled in war-times.
how can a good and loving God permit this? or God is no care of human being's painful?
friends, i didn't mean to offend you, as everybody has the right to keep a belief or not,what i wonder is your opinions of God and His nature should be.

Two words can pretty much answer this question. Those words are "free will". Having free will allows man to both improve and self destruct.
It's a catch 22.

i'm reading books about God these days and have something new now.the creator risked the daring experiment of giving us human beings the freedom of will to make good or bad decisions, to live decent or evil lives.
thus, it's human beings not God responsible for the war.

God has nothing to do with destruction and war happening today... God loves us so much that he did give us the option to choose what should be done and not! Humans are the one responsible for all their doings and not to be blame to God...

since the first murder of Cane and Able we have had murder. Nothing has changed since man was first put on earth. God gave us the free will a long time ago.
God has not changed since the beginnin of time. He is the Alpha and the Omega..the biginning and the end. Man has spent their whole lives trying to figure out the mystery of life but if they would only read the scriptures they would find the answer to all their questions. Man has had free will and that is the reason the world is in the condition it is in today. Because of one Man disobedience to God..but as you believe you shall receive.
