Hey guys, just wanted to try something for fun here. Wanted to see if I could do a bit of a questionnaire on here to see what everyone thought of their own childhood memories so here it goes.... 1. What is your earliest memory and how old were you at the time? 2. What was your favorite toy as a child? 3. What was your favorite game? 4. Were you close with your family? 5. Did you have a lot of family get togethers? 6. Do you remember your childhood friend? 7. Do you still talk to anyone that you grew up with? 8. What is your best memory of being a child? 9. Did you have brothers and sisters or were you an only child? 10. If you could change one thing about your childhood, what would it be? Hope you guys enjoy this and find it fun. Sometimes it's fun to reminisce about the past I think. Anyway, enjoy guys!

Thanks so much for your reply to this post. Sounds like you had some happy childhood memories. And some fun ones as well. I think I know what baby doll you're talking about. LOL. I remember having one similar. I also remember riding a tri-cycle around. So much fun. Anyway, thanks again for the post. Have a good night!

Wow. I'm so glad that you did this questionnaire. That is awesome that you have so many great memories of your childhood. Sometimes I think it is wonderful to remember the good times that we had when we were younger. I can understand the studying harder. I would have done the same as well. It's nice to hear that you have those special memories though. The best of the day to you!

I'm sorry to hear that your childhood was a rough one. My heart goes out to you for that. I'm glad to hear that you were close with your siblings though. I hope your life has seen better days as of late and I hope you continue to have good days throughout your life. I'm glad that you did this. I hope that you at least found it enjoyable. Best of the day to you.

Ok, I'll play along... 1. What is your earliest memory and how old were you at the time? My grandpa's retirement from the Railroad. When he came out of the Union Station for the very last time, all his grown kids, and grandkids were there waiting. We sang "I've Been Working On the Railroad". I was standing next to my mother holding her hand. My youngest brother was on my dad's shoulders. My grandpa walked out with his lunch box in one hand and his brakeman's lantern in the other. I'll never forget the huge smile on his face. I know that my other bother and sister were there, but I don't remember where they were standing. I was 3 2. What was your favorite toy as a child? A castle I got while we lived in Germany. It had a working drawbridge, the mote held water, and I had a bunch of knights, a king and a catepolt with it. 3. What was your favorite game? Monopoly, Risk and Dungeons and Dragons 4. Were you close with your family? Yes 5. Did you have a lot of family get togethers? Yes. I basically grew up with my cousins. 6. Do you remember your childhood friend? Yes, Alan, Jim, Ronald, Mike and Brett. We are still friends today 7. Do you still talk to anyone that you grew up with? See #6. 8. What is your best memory of being a child? Too many for a "best". 9. Did you have brothers and sisters or were you an only child? 4 bothers, 1 sister. I was 3rd 10. If you could change one thing about your childhood, what would it be? I wouldn't have been such a pain in the butt as a teenager. ;~D (Of course, I probably would still be, even if I did it over again). ;~Dd

I think those are wonderful memories. I'm glad to have gotten such positive responses from this. Your memory seem to be very good ones. I'm so glad for that fact. And of course, I think we all manage to be somewhat of a pain in our teenage years. Not much controlling that as we are a ball of hormones and emotions during those ages. Thank you so much for sharing your memories. Have a great day!

It's interesting... It was a hard rainy night when I was holding my puppy outside the house. After awhile I lose him. Then he ran away into the night. I was crying and told my father what had happened. He told me not to worry and I can't receive any puppy anymore. It worried me a lot. I was 5. My favorite toy was a doll. I played london bridge or hide & seek with the neighbors. Yes, I was close with my family and cousins. We had a lot of family get togethers. I had lots of childhood friends. I've transfered from one place to another. I don't remember them anymore. Yes, I still have contacts with my cousins. I don't remember. Maybe I don't have best memory as a child. I don't have a brother. I wish I have one. Being around with my other cousins. They were so naughty and hurted me. If I could change one thing that is "my childhood". No doubt about it.

Awwww. I'm sorry that you lost your puppy. That is so sad. Thanks for answering all of those. I'm glad that you took the time. It's always interesting to get to know others and I always thought that it would be fun to try and do one of these and see what others thought of them. I'm sorry that your cousins were bad. I hope as they have gotten older that they are changed now. Thanks ever so much. Have a good day!
