I would like to have a Sharpei!

I have always like dogs! As long as i see a dog, i would very happy! Now i wanna have a dog! I prefer to Sharpei,but i don't know whether it is a good feed! Please give me some suggestions! As well, what do you think the dog is a good comparison?
