what do you call your significant other?

My friends usually call their significant others "baby" or "babe", others "honey", "darling".. I on the other hand don't call my boyfriend anything.. we've been together for 6 years and we don't have those type of nicknames for each other.. in fact, i feel weird if i call him by his name. he also feels the same way! we just say "hey...." if we're far from each other.. i will just go up to him.. is it weird? maybe we should give each other nicknames? what do you call your significant other?

It's not weird at all. There are really couples who do not have some unique nicknames to call themselves. In my case, I call my significant other as Mommy. She also calls me Daddy. We are just familiarizing ourselves in the future when we will have children who will call us those names.

LOL well I often call him his name with "pants" on the end of it and I am forever calling him "loverman"...and we call each other "loser" too LOL but in a loving way :-)

well i just remembered! Recently, I've been calling him "dude" haha! I forgot why I started to call him that!

My partner and I have dozens of silly names for each other. I think we get a bit carried away actually! I call him "Bunny" or "Baby Bear" mostly.

Well that's cute =) But I don't think I could call my bf that. My friends couldn't imagine me saying sweet silly things because they think i'm too practical and won't do any of those things! Haha!

When your relationship has just started, sometimes you feel awkard calling your bf/gf with endearment names. But when your relationship had been built for years, there will come a time that you will want to address your partner with some titles that most suit both of you. For us, it is "Ma and Pa or Mama and Papa". Sometimes we call each other "sweetheart".

nope its not at all weird until n unless u both find it ok... wel i usually call my Love as Swthrt...or honey.. well its upto my mood sometimes i call her by her name. so it doesnt count wot u call...all dat matters is u love him/her. Dis is just another way of expressing love nothing else. not too important though.
