pregnant woman on family guy

i know its just a cartoon but why is that woman on that show still pregnant? she's been pregnant since the show started. She should already have it and give stewie competition.

I love Family Guy it's my one of favorite shows. It may be five years in real life but in the show it's only been five months lol. That's how I look at it.

I'm starting to think it's part of the joke- in 1 episode Peter even said to Bonnie that she'd been pregnant forever and to just have the kid already lol
