What's Your Bad Parent Moment?

Everyone has one. You know, something happens and you think "oh my word, I'm a horrible mom/dad!" You really aren't, but that is your reaction to the situation. For me, it happened at the beginning of this school year. My daughter is a known hypochondriac. Anything to get out of school. Well, one morning she was due to have a test and she was dreading it. Well that morning she complained "I have a stomach ache." I told her it was nerves and sent her off with her brothers to school. I get a call two hours later. School nurse. Apparently, my daughter barfed all over her desk and herself!!!!! I'm one of those parents that never sends a sick kid to school, so I was horrified. I hurried to go and get her. Needless to say, I check a little closer when I think she is faking, just in case.... So, what's your moment?

You know I still have no idea why she decided to take me seriously, after all I tease her all the time, so much in fact that she constantly asks me if I am serious or not. Even the simplest of statements I have to verify for her LOL.

I had one. Honestly , my daughter is a clever and understanding girl. One day she did her homework but didn't concentrate on it. Her mind was caught by the TV. I got angrey and turn off the TV. I don't know why I got so angry and said some bad words to her. She went on doing with tears in her eyes. Later at night, she wouldn't want to talk with me still. I was sorry for saying those bad words to her.

My son is 10 months old and has been walking for about 2 weeks now... well, he's been falling a lot too.... He's hit his head a few times and I just feel soo low and horrible when that happens... he was trying to crawl up onto my husband who wasn't paying attention, he slid off and hit his head on the coffee table!!! I kept it calm, gave him baby tyelnol and kept an eye on him to make sure he was doing ok...this is such a scary time!!!
