Is it an offence to love your former girl friend who is married's female friend?

Married people are always off limits. You can't help sometimes who you fall in love with, but you can help the actions you take in life. I have never seen it fail that when someone interferes with a marage, bad things happen. Sometimes it takes a while, maybe even years, but their lives eventually turn into hell on earth. Better not to touch than to go through that. Also, if someone would break the most important promise that can be made in life for you, what makes you think they won't again break the promise for someone else. I am just waiting to see my X's life fall apart... Will it be wrong to gloat?
