What made your choose your party? parents? local? issue?
I am a democrate.
The republicans only interest is $$ lining thier pockets and big business,
and have no regard for general public, the people of "We the People".
They go to extremes to exploit minorities & issue's and use them to gain votes and usually, more so never produce what they promise.

I've never registered for either party. I don't like politicians or the way elections are run in our country. Only the rich can run for office which leaves out an awful lot of people who might do a lot of good for our country. If you look back in history, if this had been true then, men like Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, and Harry Truman would have never become president -- and they're some of the best we've ever had.

I chose my party based on issues and ideals in which I hold dear. My father is a republican and my mother is a democrat. I am neither. I am a conservative who tends to vote republican.
Here is why. I believe in voting my ideals. I do not believe in special interests, but i defend the right of groups to lobby the government. I do not believe the government should impose its will on powers not granted to it by the constitution. I believe that the peoples money is exactly that. I don't believe in tax cuts. Tax cuts means the government is taking more money than it needs.
I believe in the right to life and that it starts at conception. I believe that abortion is murder and should be deemed as such under STATE laws.
I believe in family values and prayer in schools.

Neither. Both parties are run by a bunch of rich white guys who are more interested in passing laws that are in their best interests than the general publics (the only difference is Republicans are upfront about that while Democrats pretend to be just like the average guy).
I vote for the candidate, not the party.
